Learn more about district heating.
District heating benefits
District heating is convenient – Simply turn on your heater whenever you desire. You no longer have to think if there is enough oil in the tank or if you need to order more wood or coal. District heat is produced centrally and piped directly to your house.
District heating is safe – Our heat supply is always ensured through reserve tanks. In many cases we use biomass which largely protects you from supply shortages and fluctuating energy prices.
District heating is economical – We utilise the most economical systems for space heating and domestic water heating. There are no costs for fuel storage, servicing the boiler or for chimney sweeping. Additionally, highly accurate heat energy meters ensure correct and transparent billing.
District heating is clean – In many cases we use local renewable biomass and together with our customers, through district heating, we will decisively improve the air quality.
District heating saves space – The heat-transfer station, the heat meter and the regulator do not need their own room, a corner of your cellar is enough. That means that you will have more room for your hobbies, sports and parties! You effectively expand your living space with district heating.
District heating lasts - A district heating-transfer station lasts a long time. In fact, more than 30 years according to standards. Through this, you can save on the substantial investment cost of a conventional heating system which must be replaced every 15 years.
District heating is subsidised – In Austria subsidy funding is subsidised by national and provincial funding bodies for the conversion to district heating. Our customer service team is happy to help you with more detailed information about subsidy possibilities in your country.
